Introduction

My name is Ieva Blaževičiūtė and I study graphic and media design at the London College of Communication Y1.

This blog was made to show the research I did for the language 01 and 02 projects.
Language 01: I chose social design and information design as my contexts and tried to develop an info design piece with the relation to the social design as it involves the information about the biggest cities and most spoken languages of the world (later added smallest countries). The project at this stage is a poster, yet I will try to develop it further into an interactive piece.
Language 02: I developed the topic of voyeurism into a conceptual photography book that explores the concept of freedom within via different phisolophical approaches. My signage system was installed in my own living place and for the on my window for the people outside to see.

This blog is divided into different sections, some of them overlapping with each other.
The sections are therefore as follows:
Language 01 research - the research, key studies and everything that is related to my main topic of first language project
Language 02 research - the research, key studies and everything that is related to my main topic of the second language project
Key study examples - a more in depth look into examples of design
Works/sketchbook - some of the works done during the project's time that can be related to the topic

The blog will be ongoing and I might add my future projects here as well.
